About Us

Hi, I’m Joleigh but everyone calls me Jo! That lady holding me is my mommy. She always wanted to have a little girl but knew it would be hard with her type 1 diabetes. She did everything she could to keep me safe but I was ready to meet her! You see, I was born 10 weeks early & spent 64 days in the NICU! Every day I was there my mama came to see me & she always brought me a different bow! All the nurses started to come by my bed each night just to see what my mom had on me that day. If there was a best dressed in the NICU award, I’m so sure I would have won! The day my mom found out she was having a girl she started buying bow after bow, I must have 100s now. Finally my Mimi decided to start making them for me herself. They turned out so cute that her, my mommy, & my bubba wanted to offer them for everyone else too, so here we are. Obviously I’m the Jo half of this. 

Hi, I’m Emileigh, but you can call me Emi! I’m expected to make my arrival in March. I will be Jo’s cousin since my daddy & jo’s mommy are siblings. That means we get to share Mimi! My daddy also has type 1 diabetes just like Jo's mommy, I think that makes us both pretty special babies. My momma can’t wait for me to get here & wear bows too!
